Despite some drawbacks, my Christmas stay was great! The pool was a perfect retreat after beach activities, and the beachfront bar turned out to be my favorite hangout spot during sunset. One of the best things about this place was that they had bikes to explore two nearby locations with collectivos connecting them. the host's assistance was helpful, welcoming and informative.

If you don't have a car, taxi services can be tough to find. , the location is a bit tricky.

Spent New Year's Eve at a lovely boutique hotel in Pie de la Cuesta. the facilities were great - especially the pool, perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. the food was awesome - dinner and breakfast were delicious, with a local flavor. the location was perfect, nestled between the main road and a beach. the staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed.

The main downside to the hotel was if you didn't have a car, getting a taxi was almost impossible. It would have been nice to have more transportation options available to fully explore the area.
